Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging is the only dedicated manufacturer of MRI systems for veterinarians.

The company head office and factory are located in Guildford in the UK, where the systems are designed and manufactured.

Hallmarq has a sales and service office in Acton, MA in the United States and field service engineers based in other locations around the world.

The Hallmarq development team have many man-decades of experience in the design and manufacture of clinical, research and industrial MRI systems and between them have installed over 150 systems worldwide.

The team initially applied its expertise to the development of the world's only MRI scanner for the standing horse, designing a permanent magnet suitable to fit around the horse's leg.

With this product firmly established Hallmarq now also offers a product for companion animals. The PetVet, a 1.5T high field MRI, has been created by Hallmarq with animal rather than human patients in mind.

Experienced engineers carry out all the installations and on-going service of our MRI systems. We are proud of our proactive online monitoring system and our excellent track record for scanner up-time.

Hallmarq’s goal is to make MRI cost effective while giving vets access to proven high technology with a low initial investment. Over 33,000 standing equine examinations have been carried out to date.
