Welcome to the Clinical Forum

Posted by Dan Brown at May 14. 2010

As a result of several requests from our users, we have introduced this forum for our users around the world to discuss interesting and challenging clinical MRI cases.

Discussions relating to system operations and business aspects of the MRI system have their own discussion areas.

We look forward to some useful, educational and hopefully entertaining discussions!

All the best,

Dan

Hello Dan,

I am so glad to see the  new discussion forum.  I think this is a great way for users to bounce ideas, questions, problems and success stories off of each other.

I will continue to add feedback, comments as often as I can.  I finished a bilateral standing DE exam today, all went very well.  The exam quality is constantly improving, with shorted scan time.  We are really happy to see that.  All we need now are more cases!

Thank you again,

Jennifer Harrison

Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for getting the ball rolling on our discussion forum and it's good to hear that things are going well for you. One of my primary roles is to help drive cases through all our magnets by educating owners, trainers, farriers and referring vets alike.

We will shortly be announcing this forum to all our sites and we look forward to seeing some great discussion here!

Regards,

Dan

I would be interested in hearing some comments on how clinicians are treating bone contusion, and bone sclerosis injuries, and what factors they consider in the prognostication of these injuries. Also, how would I share the images of such a case with those in this forum? Will Hallmarq post them for me?

Hi Paul,

Image files up to 1MB can be added as attachments, using the button at the bottom of the comment editor.   This should work for a few jpegs.  If the files are too big or you want to share eg a full set of DICOM images please let me know and I'll find a way to make them available.  All images posted here should be anonymised.
