£1000 sponsorship for a UK based rider
Hallmarq is searching for a talented UK based rider to support in their quest to reach the top, in any riding discipline. The successful rider will be named the "2010 Hallmarq MRI Scholar" and will receive sponsorship worth £1,000 to spend on training, entries and running costs.
The scholar must be passionate about their chosen sport, hard working and with a proven track record in competition. They will also receive Hallmarq MRI rugs and saddlecloths for the horse, and promotional clothing for the rider.
Hallmarq MRI scanners are now used at 45 veterinary surgeries and universities worldwide (13 in the UK) and more than 19,000 horses have now been scanned. The Hallmarq MRI standing equine scanner has revolutionised the way lameness is diagnosed, particularly in the foot where its ability to visualise both bone and soft tissue injury is rapidly relegating the term "navicular syndrome" to history.
To apply for the scholarship, send a portfolio to Hallmarq telling us:
- Why you want to be sponsored by Hallmarq MRI?
- What the sponsorship would mean to you?
- Your current achievements, details on you and your horses.
Applicants must be 18 years old or over on 31st August 2010. Please send your entry, including photos of yourself and your horse, by 31 August to:
